Fitness & Wellness Redesign Project – Interior Design by Studio D73

Studio D73 oversaw the complete interior redesign of a private fitness and wellness center, delivering a high-impact transformation in two phases: the restyling of the existing gym and the interior design of a new wellness extension.

Phase 1 – Gym Restyling

The ground-floor gym was reimagined to enhance functionality, circulation, and user experience. The project included a new layout for training equipment, custom ceilings, updated finishes, and a lighting design that supports both performance and ambiance. A new entrance and reception area were also created to improve client flow and hospitality.

Phase 2 – New SPA and Changing Areas

The second-floor expansion added 110 sqm of men’s and women’s changing rooms, 40 sqm of circulation spaces, and 75 sqm dedicated to a new wellness area. Interior design focused on comfort, privacy, and seamless integration of wet and dry zones.

In the changing rooms, custom-designed furnishings and durable, refined materials support both function and aesthetics. The SPA is conceived as a fluid, open space with distinct yet connected zones: a raised relaxation area and a wellness zone featuring a made-to-measure sauna in hemlock, hammam, emotional shower, and traditional bucket shower.

Large windows filtered with string curtains allow natural light to enhance the space, while soft, layered artificial lighting creates mood and intimacy. Subtle transitions—through ceiling heights, materials, and custom furnishings—define areas without dividing them, resulting in a cohesive and immersive wellness experience.

This project reflects Studio D73’s approach: tailor-made interiors where function meets refined design, and wellness is elevated through spatial storytelling.
